What decides your case

What does the letter ask, and by when? The letter states what the tax authority asks for and the response deadline, counted from the notification date.
Is it a matter of fact or a point of law? A factual or divergence reply can be filed on your authorisation. Where a reply argues a point of law, we prepare it and you sign and file it in your own name.
Does your return have to change? A divergence notice asks you to explain or correct a mismatch with the tax authority's data. A substitute return is needed only if the return has to be corrected.
What clients say
4.7 on Google from 43 reviewsTelmo and his team were wonderful. Reassuring, thorough and efficient.
We came to Telmo and his team when we had been miss evaluated at the end of a tax year, and after a deadline. He was able to understand our situation very quickly - give great advice and able to ensure we didnt get any other fines due additional late applications
He and his team saved us A LOT of money .
What a wonderful service. Using here on in..
I've been working with Telmo's team at Taxbordr — International Tax Advisors, Lda — for two years, and Carol has handled our filings throughout.
What I value most is that nothing is left half-finished. Our 2024 returns turned into a complicated case: while the matter was still being regularised, the Tax Authority created instalment plans on its own initiative, and the portal kept showing amounts with no real basis behind them. …
